Generator Transformers for Windmills

Shilchar Technologies Ltd. has been a pioneer in designing and manufacturing generator transformers specifically for windmill applications since 2006. To date, we have supplied transformers totalling 7 GW capacity for wind energy projects as of December 2025.

Our windmill transformers are manufactured using both aluminium and copper foil winding techniques to meet a variety of customer specifications. All transformers undergo rigorous type testing to ensure reliability and durability in demanding renewable energy environments.

• Operational Flexibility : Withstands up to -15% low voltage (high current) conditions to maintain grid stability.
