Shilchar Technologies was founded in 1990 with the main purpose of manufacturing high quality R-core transformers. As we received an overwhelming response from the market in 1995, we eventually ventured into the manufacturing of ferrite transformers.
Shilchar Technologies Ltd. is now one of India’s prominent manufacturers of Power & Distribution transformers. As part of the expansion plans, we started manufacturing Distribution and Power Transformers in a phased manner. Today, we manufacture superior quality transformers for a wide range of industries across the world including utility sector to renewable energy; all of them satisfied with our powerful product range.

Shilchar is an internationally sought-after company generating more than 50% revenue from exports since 2011. We constantly strive to achieve improvement in products & services and offer total customer satisfaction that has resulted in making us a market leader.
What has kept us ahead of the competition is our relentless pursuit towards product excellence. In 2015, we started the construction of a new state-of-the-art facility to increase our capacity from 1000 MVA per year to 4000 MVA per year. Our advanced facilities, competent manpower and competitive pricing ensure our position as a world-class manufacturer of transformers. We manufacture transformers up to 50 MVA, 132 KV Class and we are rapidly expanding our global footsteps.
We are actively concentrating on export as part of our business plan. In the last 3 years, our efforts have yielded a good result of achieving 50% revenue from export.
